Yesterday, November 18th, the start of an event that has held special significance for us for years rang out once again. "Everyone to the Oars" – an initiative of the Legia Foundation, this year co-created with the Off School Foundation – attracted crowds.

And we were there again. The Uskrzydlamy Foundation and a large, incredibly diverse team of LipCo Foods employees. The largest group at the event, though it's not about numbers. It's more about the fact that when something is worth doing, when something makes sense, we can organize and work together.

Our rowing team – in one place, from different directions

We fielded eight teams – 30 people. People from Karczew, Powiśle, Stoczek Węgrowski, Łódź, and Lublin came. From the office, from production, and from the Foundation. Some had traveled a long way, others quite a distance – but all were equally eager to get on the ergometer and give it their all. And sometimes even more.

The goal of this year's campaign

This time, the event focused on the presence of children and young people in the digital world. Many threats lurk online – hate, peer pressure, and a lack of adult support. This is a difficult but important topic – not theoretically, but in a very real sense. Because young people need adults who truly respond.

The collected funds will be donated to the Off School Foundation for:

  • creating a guide on conscious use of the Internet,

  • a social campaign about empathy and respect online,

  • organizing DAY OFF – an offline day for young people, encouraging them to put down screens and engage in relationships outside of it.

    On ergometers

We paddled in several rounds – at 10:20, 10:30, 10:40, and then at 4:00 PM, the Legal Department added their energy. A whole host of stations. Anyone who was there could see how impressive it was. Even the event host remarked several times on the impressive number of people from one company. And the extraordinary atmosphere.

We were easily recognized – our T-shirts with the LipCo Foods logo on the back and the Uskrzydlamy Foundation logo on the chest were impressive – not only did they look impressive, but they also clearly distinguished our group from all the other participants.

    Famous faces

As every year, the event was attended by distinguished athletes and artists. These individuals, whose experience and presence elevate the event's importance, but also—more importantly—demonstrate that the common good has no "industry." You can be a world champion or a champion of everyday life and still row for the same noble cause.

    More than just rowing

Rowing together allows us to work together and feels like our efforts are part of something bigger. It's also great fun, a lot of joy, and a sense of satisfaction that lasts a long time.

    Thank you!

We thank everyone who contributed their strength, time, and presence. Those near and far, those who paddled for the first time and those who have been with us for years.

You're amazing. Thanks to you, we've flown higher again 😊
