On the night of October 30\/31, around 3 a.m., the home of Tomasz Mielcarz, an employee of the Freezing Department in Karczew, burned down. He was left alone with his mother, who has dementia, and his disabled sister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After visiting Tomek, we had the opportunity to see firsthand the extent of the damage and destruction caused by the recent fire. It's hard to describe\u2026 The roof is completely gone, and the interior also needs a complete renovation. What wasn't touched by the fire was damaged by water\u2026\u00a0
It's a miracle that help arrived in time and none of Tomasz's family paid for it with their lives.

The collection to help rebuild the house, and primarily to protect the roof before winter, is still ongoing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far we have managed to collect for this purpose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • PLN 33,315 and EUR 2,069 were transferred to the foundation's accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • cash \u2013 donations transferred to the foundation and to the collection boxes: PLN 7,463.60 and EUR 20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • from the collection plate during the funeral Mass of the late Henryk Lipka: PLN 4,254 and EUR 10;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
