Donating blood is simple. It takes just a few minutes, a few formalities, and a little something sweet at the end. And yet, this gesture can save someone's life. Literally.
That's why the Uskrzydlamy Social Development Foundation is organizing its third blood donation drive for LipCo Foods employees. This internal initiative, conducted at selected company facilities, aims to make it easier for people who want to help but don't always have the opportunity to donate blood.
Where and when will the blood bus appear?
This year, mobile blood collection points will be set up in three locations:
🩸 Lublin – April 8 (the action has already taken place)
🩸 Karczew – May 15 (9:00 – 13:00)
🩸 Lodz – May 20 (9:00 – 12:00)
In other LipCo Foods group locations, those interested will be able to donate blood at nearby Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Centers.
Why is this so important?
Because blood is something that can't be manufactured or bought. It's needed every day—in cancer treatments, during surgeries, after accidents. One unit of blood can save the lives of up to three people.
The Uskrzydlamy Foundation supports such initiatives because it knows how crucial they are. Donating blood is an example of how simple it is to do something good, something real, something necessary, and something very important.
You can help too!
The campaign organized by the Foundation is internal, but it also serves as a reminder of something much broader: that anyone can donate blood. And it's worth doing so regularly, not just during special events.
Where can you donate blood?
- In blood donation and blood treatment centers (RCKiK) – in larger cities
- In local branches of RCKiK – in smaller towns
- In mobile blood collection points that appear, for example, at offices, schools, and shopping malls

What does the donor gain?
Apart from the awareness that you have done something important, there are also specific benefits, including:
- Two days off from work – one on the day of blood donation and the second day after.
- Sweet regeneration package
- Free tests
- Blood donation certificate
- Tax deductibility of the donation is available to anyone who donates blood and receives confirmation of its amount.
- Additional benefits – people who regularly donate blood can, over time, earn the status of a distinguished donor and benefit from benefits such as transportation discounts, medication discounts, and priority access to healthcare.
It doesn't take much to help
The Uskrzydlamy Foundation believes that helping others doesn't have to be a big deal. It can be a part of everyday life. And sharing life—drop by drop—is one of the simplest, yet most beautiful forms of support we can offer.
