Dear Moms, you don't have to be perfect

Find us on:

Motherhood rarely looks the way we imagined it. Sometimes we lack patience. Sometimes we lack strength. Sometimes, after a whole day, all we can think is, "Am I even doing this right?".

Yet, every day, mothers get up and try again. They make breakfast, lunch, remember a million little things, and carry worries they often don't share with anyone. And even when they're tired, their children still find their safest place there.

Today we want to remind all mothers of something very important.

You don't have to be perfect to be a good mom. You don't have to have everything under control.

Children don't remember perfect days. They remember warmth, laughter, presence, and the feeling that they can always return to their mother.

On Mother's Day, we wish all mothers to look at themselves more often with the tenderness they look at their children. May they stop measuring their worth by the number of responsibilities they have and feel they're never doing enough.

Because you are already special to your children. Even if you don't see it in yourself.
