At the end of the summer holidays, we met up with our families again in Jastarnia. A few days on the Baltic Sea, some rest, lots of fun, and above all, time that's often lacking in everyday life. No rush, with the beach at your fingertips, and plenty of opportunities to just be together.
The beach, of course, was number one. It's hard to beat the sea! But even when the weather wasn't perfect for the beach, there was no reason to be bored. The kids had activities, the youngsters enjoyed team games, and hide-and-seek was a particular hit. And it turned out that not having phones had its advantages. After a more intense game, you could catch your breath in a hammock and laze around for a bit.
There was also a hiking trip to Jurata for those who wanted to venture a little further afield, and a visit to the Alfa Rope Park. There, our families could get a serious adrenaline rush. And one evening, we gathered around a bonfire and roasted sausages.
We also went to the Żeglarz Cinema to see "Toy Story 5." This educational story about relationships appealed to both children and adults.
This year, families from Poland, Ukraine, Colombia, and Moldova met in Jastarnia. Different cultures and histories came together in one place. Such gatherings are a reminder that it doesn't take much to see how much we have in common.
Another nice touch were the magnets and keychains the children received from the Municipal Cultural, Sports and Recreation Centre in Jastarnia. Thanks to them, they could take home a piece of Jastarnia and keep a souvenir of their trip.
This year's trip was attended by 83 people – children and adults alike. This trip wouldn't have been possible without the support of our Partners, Donors, and Friends, to whom we extend our sincere thanks.
We'd like to thank Alfa Rope Park for the sheer fun and adrenaline rush, as well as for supporting our families with promotional ticket prices. We'd also like to thank the Żeglarz Cinema for their kindness and annual discount on screenings. We'd also like to thank the Municipal Cultural, Sports and Recreation Center in Jastarnia for the souvenir gifts for our children.

And of course, we'd like to thank our hosts from the "Dobrze, że jesteś" Foundation, who have welcomed our families for years, cared for their stay, and, as always, fed us well. It's thanks to your hospitality that Jastarnia is a place we always want to return to.
This year's trip is behind us. Our footprints remain by the sea, and with them have returned photos, souvenirs, and memories of those few special days. The suitcases have been unpacked, and the holiday rhythm is slowly giving way to everyday life.
During this week in Jastarnia, we truly felt like one big, joyful family. Because it's not just about being by the sea for a few days. It's about being able to escape the daily grind, catch your breath, and spend time with loved ones without constantly checking the clock.
