We got it!
The official summary of the school expansion project in Kithatu, Kenya, which we carried out together with the Philanthropic Consortium.
The implementation period was set for October 23, 2023, to June 30, 2024. Thanks to Sister Dariana MSF's care and personal involvement in every element of the work, everything was completed in May of this year.
See for yourself how impressive it looks
Work performed as part of the project:
finishing and equipping of the technical room;
construction and equipment of a laundry and drying room:
construction and furnishing of a 9th grade classroom for secondary school students;
construction and equipment of the library;
construction of additional school toilets;
construction of a larger and modernized animal farm;
purchase and installation of a new 5,000-litre water tank;
purchase of a 14-seater bus to transport approximately 80 children on a rotational basis;
equipping the computer room with 10 desktop computers, a laptop and WiFi connection
We are proud and very happy that in cooperation with the Philanthropic Consortium we have managed to accomplish so much
All this not only improves the quality of life and learning of 380 students, but also significantly improves their future situation and makes it easier to find a good and decent job!
We would like to thank the Philanthropic Consortium and Omenaa Foundation for your cooperation on this project!
