Every day spent in the hospital is a challenge – especially for children and their families, who often have to stay there for days at a time. A hospital room shouldn't be a second home, but in reality, this is where their daily lives unfold – during diagnosis, treatment, and the wait for recovery.
We've launched a fundraiser to repaint the rooms at the Pediatric Diabetes and Pediatrics Ward in Warsaw. We want the place where children spend long days to be a little more welcoming and less overwhelming.
Color and surroundings will not cure illness, but they can provide a moment of relief, peace, and a sense of greater security – both for children and their loved ones.
