Kithatu – expansion of the school for 380 children
In Kithatu, we expanded the existing school run by the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family. We added new classrooms, a library, technical support, additional restrooms, and a classroom to enable continued learning after the education system reform.
We purchased a 5,000-liter water tank to ensure the school's daily operations. We also purchased a bus to transport children, especially the youngest, who previously walked several hours a day to school. We also expanded the school farm, where children learn the basics of agriculture, and the vegetables, milk, and eggs grown are used in school meals.
Mijomboni – a new school from scratch
A new school with preschool classes has opened in Mijomboni. This allows children in the area to access education in a safe and dignified environment. This place supports their development, giving them the opportunity for peaceful learning and a brighter future.
Today, thanks to these projects, hundreds of children have a school, a safe route to school, and real learning conditions.
