Recently, we had the pleasure of supporting a fishing competition and family picnic organized by Bydgoszcz Angling Club No. 50. The event was attended by residents of Bydgoszcz and surrounding towns, including Wudzyn, Wudzynek, Serock, Brzeźno, Kotomierz, and Pruszcz Pomorski, including children and young people.
Although the aim of the competition was to fish together, it is hard not to notice that such initiatives bring much more value than just the opportunity to catch a fish.
Fishing teaches patience, concentration, and respect for nature. It encourages spending time outdoors and allows you to slow down. It's also one of those activities that naturally distracts you from screens and the daily grind.
For children and young people, it is also an opportunity to build relationships, have conversations together and discover that contact with nature can bring true joy and satisfaction.
We're delighted to have supported an event that promotes these values. We believe that encouraging children and young people to pursue their passions and spend their time actively can yield long-lasting results.
