As part of the "War and Trauma" project, implemented in partnership with the Totalizator Sportowy Foundation, we supported a therapeutic retreat for the wives and children of Ukrainian soldiers. It was a time of much-needed respite from the reality of war – full of conversations, creative activities, psychological and spiritual support, and simply being together, free from fear and tension.
Participants were able to briefly escape the daily fear of their loved ones, spend time in a safe space, share their emotions and regain a little peace.
We also support the "Angels of Joy" therapeutic program, which has provided assistance to children and families from 14 regions – primarily from frontline villages and towns. From May 2022 to September 2025, 242 meetings were held, reaching 14,380 children and 8,620 families. These regular activities give children a moment of normalcy, joy, a sense of security, and the space to be children – despite war, despite fear, and despite everything surrounding them.
