There's a lot going on at our Foundation – we help, support, and build relationships. But beyond our day-to-day work, we also strive to continually develop ourselves. We know that only by learning ourselves can we more effectively respond to the needs of others.

That's why on May 28th we participated in the Fundraising Factory workshop, which took place at Allegro's headquarters, the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. Organized by Polish Fundraising Association, of which we are members and with which we share similar values – acting from the heart, openness and the desire for real change.

The topic was storytelling in fundraising – the art of telling stories that not only attract attention but also build trust and open people to supporting social causes. The host was Mirosław Urban, a psychologist, trainer, and practitioner, who, with a lighthearted yet specific and objective approach, showed us the importance of well-told stories in our daily work.

These weren't dry lectures – there was plenty of conversation, exchange of experiences, and above all, inspiration. We had the space to look at our activities from a different perspective, but also to convince ourselves that what we do makes sense. And that it's worth speaking out about it – honestly, from our own perspective, without unnecessary "embellishment.".

For us, this meeting was more than just gaining knowledge. It was a moment of communion with good company, a sense of belonging to a larger community that truly wants to change reality for the better. Moments like these give us strength and remind us why we're all here.

This experience stays with us. It brought a new perspective and showed us that there is strength in this community of people worth drawing from. We returned with renewed energy – ready to move forward.
