Kampinos on two wheels – a summer trip for our youth

Find us on:

There's no better time to take a breath than summer. And if that breath takes you through the paths of the Kampinos Forest, it can turn into something truly special.

A two-day bicycle trip for our seventh and eighth grade students is currently underway – organized by Via Verde. They took care of the entire concept, equipment, accommodations, and care. It's their initiative – born from the need to show young people what active recreation in nature looks like. At the same time, they ensured that this recreation was well-prepared, safe, and simply – worthwhile.

The youth began their journey on Tuesday, July 8th. In the morning, they departed Karczew, then set off with their bikes waiting in Truskaw, and then the first stage towards Julinek. Forest paths, some road, but everything was planned so everyone could manage. Along the way, of course, there was a bit of fatigue, some mixed weather, but also plenty of laughter and the feeling that this was a day to remember.

Once there, Julinek Park offers plenty of fun: swimming pools, games, and time for yourself. In the evening, a bonfire is more than just dinner – it's more of a time to relax, unwind, and be together. And in the morning, another round of activities awaits before the group heads back.

Twenty people – students in grades 7 and 8 – and their chaperones are participating in the trip. Everything was organized with the comfort and safety of the participants in mind. We are confident about the trip and deeply grateful to everyone who made it possible.

Special thanks go to Via Verde for their initiative, commitment, and real support, which translates into very tangible experiences for our students. Thanks to them, these young people can experience Kampinos not from a textbook, but literally from the saddle of a bicycle.

The trip is still ongoing – but we already know it will have a sequel. Maybe not on the calendar, but definitely in our memories.
