July was incredibly intense! It was full of activities that combined relaxation, team-building, and the development of our projects. We spent the first week of the month in Trzcianka, where 10 families – 48 people in total – participated in a trip packed with attractions, time spent together, and building relationships.
Shortly after our return, our summer camps in Karczew, Lublin and Łódź started, during which the youngest participants started their holidays creatively and actively.
The beginning of July also brought us fantastic news – our Foundation's President, Randa, completed the Marriage and Family Mediation course. We are proud and offer our heartfelt congratulations once again! Furthermore, this month we also launched our quiet room project. The first such space was created at Primary School No. 2 in Karczew, and discussions are already underway with the Otwock Municipal Cultural Center (PMDK) to create another quiet zone. We believe that everyone – even the youngest – needs a moment of peace and quiet sometimes.
Thanks to our collaboration with the Ronald McDonald House and Univar Solutions, we have delivered paints and essential materials to the Children's Clinical Hospital of the Medical University of Warsaw to renovate the diabetology department.
We also funded meals for the American staff of the Artistic and Language Camp in Otwock, and in Góra Kalwaria a new drinking water dispenser for athletes appeared, which we also had the pleasure of financing.
We ended July with a bang – together with Via Verde, we organized the "Cycling Through Kampinos" rally. Nearly 20 young participants covered 25 kilometers through the picturesque Kampinos National Park, culminating in a visit to Julinek Park.
Even though the holidays are in full swing, we're not slowing down! August promises to be just as exciting!
