We are no longer afraid of crochet hooks, threads or buttons!

It's all thanks to the two-day sewing and crocheting workshops that took place on August 3rd and 4th. During these two days, the space was filled with creative energy, laughter, focus, and a huge dose of creativity. Starting Monday morning, a group of very talented young people took on the challenge of sewing (and crocheting!) their own pillows, stuffed animals, hair ties, and many other small projects, which they then proudly took home.

The entire event was led by Anna Paciorek-Giers, who with immense passion and patience introduced us to this wonderful world of handicrafts. Thanks to her guidance, participants were able to not only learn the basics of sewing and crocheting, but also how to choose materials, how to tackle more challenging elements, and how to creatively develop their ideas. Anna created an atmosphere of support and encouragement, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and able to work at their own pace.

Our students proved to be not only incredibly talented, but also very patient, ambitious, and hungry for knowledge. They enthusiastically pursued each stage of their projects, and when the workshop was over, they didn't want to leave. Already on the first day, they were asking about the next round of workshops, which only confirmed how much they enjoyed this way of spending their time.

The workshops provided a wonderful space to spend two days together during the summer—full of bonding, conversation, sharing experiences, and discovering new passions. Participants had the opportunity to get to know each other better, collaborate, support each other, and celebrate the small successes that emerged at every turn. The atmosphere was so warm and inspiring that even those with no previous experience with sewing or crocheting quickly felt confident and boldly took on new challenges.

These were truly unique sewing and crocheting workshops – full of creativity, joy, and new skills that will surely stay with the participants for a long time.
