(President of the Uszwirlamy Social Development Foundation)
The Uskrzydlamy Foundation's mission in Ukraine has been completed! In five days, we traveled over 2,000 km, passing through four Ukrainian counties. We visited residents of several towns in the Khmelnytskyi and Zhytomyr counties (including Hvardijske, Korzec, and Zviagel).

We heard sirens twice and saw scenery that reminded us we were in a country at war – we were in trenches and spent several minutes in a shelter (a terrible experience). We met people who told us their experiences and stories that would be better if they never happened…
We left the inhabitants of these small and very poor towns with 300 kg of food products, medical supplies and candles, which we collected thanks to your generosity.

We also donated nine power generators (the vast majority purchased with funds from Westbridge Foods), which were delivered to the Khmelnytsky hospital, to the population in the two aforementioned regions, to Ukrainian soldiers on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, and to soldiers fighting in the Odessa region. As part of a larger humanitarian convoy, we assisted in unloading two trucks full of food for soldiers on the front lines.
Moreover, we have experienced great sympathy and kindness from Ukrainians towards Poland and Poles. We have been asked to convey to all Poles our appreciation for our help and gratitude, for supporting them and not abandoning them in their time of need. They now feel that we are one large Slavic family, friends they can count on. We have also heard courageous assurances from the heart that Ukrainians will never give up, because they feel they have a mission to combat the evil emanating from Putin's Russia and prevent it from spreading to the rest of Europe. They are grateful for our support in this fight; as they say, they will fight to the very end.
A longer photo report summarizing the trip of representatives of the Uskrzydlamy Foundation as part of a humanitarian convoy to Ukraine will be published soon.
