We are announcing the "World during the pandemic" photography competition!

Find us on:

The aim of the competition is to present, through photography, the changing socio-cultural reality of the contemporary world: the need to maintain sanitary regimes, with particular emphasis on the use of masks, protective gloves, and disinfectants. The pandemic has caused silence in cities, where streets, squares, and public places have become deserted. Through the need for quarantine and isolation, the Covid-19 pandemic has also impacted social relations through people being confined to their homes, remote working, and distance learning.

We've also developed other habits, such as those related to how we spend our free time or developing new interests. Perhaps—and this would be a positive impact of the pandemic—this past year has awakened within us, despite all these restrictions, a space of sensitivity towards others. Perhaps…

We encourage you to photograph everyday, interesting, or surprising events from people's lives during the pandemic and the surrounding world of culture, politics, science, technology, and art. We hope that the pandemic is now in retreat, and that your works will serve as documentation of a time we are slowly leaving behind.

Before entering the competition, please read the Rules and Regulations! (click here to download the regulations and the application form)

Photographs should be submitted electronically to: fundacja@superdrob.pl with the subject "World During the Pandemic Photo Competition" or in printed form to the Foundation's postal address. Works should be sent with an attached registration form, available in the competition rules.
