After a two-year hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the long-awaited International Super Festival of Cultures took place on November 20, 2022. Annually, SuperDrob SA operates. The Uskrzydlamy Foundation is organizing the Festival's official celebrations. The event wouldn't be as spectacular without the support of the Mazur Karczew sports club and Solano. This year's event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Starost of Otwock, and the theme of the fourth edition was "Beauty Lies in the Diversity of Cultures." The event always attracts several hundred participants and football fans, and this year was no exception. Interestingly, the Ukrainian team once again triumphed, having held the top spot in the football competition since the very first edition of the SuperFestival. The winning teams were "decorated" by the Starost of Otwock County and the Mayor of Karczew. The event culminated in a tasting of international cuisine.
The event once again took place at the Cultural and Sports Center in Karczew. The facility boasts a large space capable of accommodating the large crowds, which were in abundance. Amid the excitement of the football match, the stands erupted with loud applause from numerous fans. The top three podium places were taken by teams from Ukraine, Poland, and Moldova, respectively.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and all participants of the football competition and thank them for a beautiful and fair play competition.
After the tournament, all those present were treated to international cuisine specialties – from Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia, Indonesia, Nepal, Ukraine, and Poland. Everyone could indulge in a culinary feast while admiring the colorful costumes of each nationality. The culinary area was located both indoors and outdoors (barbecue, bonfire, and field kitchen). Furthermore, the tasting was preceded by incredible dance performances by talented representatives from Nepal and Kyrgyzstan.
A festival on a global scale
The primary value of the Super Festival of Cultures is, and always has been, the integration of employees, fostered by the presentation of their traditions, cuisine, and cultural heritage from various countries. The event is an opportunity to see ourselves from a completely different perspective, both sporting and culinary, while simultaneously showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of each nation. It is also a way to thank them for their enormous contribution and a gesture of gratitude to the international SuperDrob team.
