Almost a year and a half after the fire, the reconstruction of the house of Tomek, an employee of LipCo Foods, has begun.
As a reminder, in October 2024, a fire destroyed the house's roof, and the interior was severely damaged, partially by water damage. Tomek lived there with his mother, who suffers from dementia, and his disabled sister. Fortunately, everyone survived, but the house was uninhabitable.
Immediately after the fire, the Uskrzydlamy Foundation launched a fundraiser for the reconstruction. Many people got involved – primarily LipCo Foods employees, Tomek's colleagues, and even people from outside the company. Construction work took longer than expected due to ongoing prosecutorial and court proceedings.
The most important thing today is that work has begun. The Uskrzydlamy Foundation has donated 60,000 złoty for the reconstruction. This is mainly money raised through a fundraiser.
