For the past few days, Mariapoli Fiore in Trzcianka has been abuzz with activity. You can hear children laughing, conversations over shared meals, and new ideas for spending time together. This is exactly what a vacation trip looks like for 10 families, totaling 48 people, for whom we care daily.
Every day is completely different. We've already had craft workshops, a group bag painting session, cooled off in the pool, and roasted sausages by the bonfire. A meeting with a Volunteer Fire Department firefighter was also a thrill. The questions were endless, and the opportunity to try on a firefighter's helmet and—for the most persistent—a firefighter's uniform brought a lot of joy not only to the children but also to the adults.
What we're most pleased about is that our families are simply having a wonderful time. The children happily engage in various activities, and the adults are also eager to participate or enjoy a moment to relax and have quiet conversations. It's this relaxed, family atmosphere that makes each day go by far too quickly.
Our clients still have their final days of rest together ahead of them. We hope they will be filled with positive energy, smiles, and many joyful moments until the very end.
