Thanks to the cooperation of the Uskrzydlamy Foundation with LipCo Foods, the Samarytanka Foundation, the Secretariat for Foreign Missions of the Sacred Heart Priests, and Father Stanisław Worwa, 22 wells have been built in various locations across Chad. This is truly life-changing for local communities.
Where water was previously drawn from polluted reservoirs or had to be walked many kilometers to fetch it, now there's a well accessible to the entire village. This means fewer illnesses, better hygiene, more time for families and children. It's also a simple sense of relief that tomorrow there will be clean water to drink again.
Clean water is the basis of a dignified life and access to it should not be a luxury.
