We support the construction of a school in Tanzania

Find us on:

Sometimes a truly small thing can bring a lot of joy. This time, it's the plaques that will soon be hanging in classrooms at a school in Tanzania. We're thrilled that they'll be part of a place that's still being built. We're supporting the construction of a school run by the Missionaries of the Holy Family, and Sister Dariana has been with us throughout the project—and not for the first time.

This is important to us not only because another school is being built. It's also another step in the efforts we've been taking for years to improve children's access to education. Because education offers much more than just the opportunity to attend classes. It provides knowledge, skills, and the chance to make independent decisions about their future lives. In many parts of Africa, access to school is still very difficult. Children travel long distances to get there, and families often struggle to provide even the basic necessities for learning.

That's why education is one of our key areas of involvement, even outside of Poland. We've already supported educational projects in Africa, helping build and expand schools, equipping classrooms, and creating environments where children can simply learn. In Kenya, in Kithatu, we partnered with the Philanthropic Consortium to expand a school that currently serves 380 students. In Mijomboni, a completely new school was built from scratch, and in Subukiia, we supported the construction of a school kitchen for 418 children.

Now it's time for Tanzania. This is another project where we can do something concrete for children and their education. And the signs hanging in classrooms will soon find their proper place.

And there's something else we're especially excited about. We're not doing this alone. We're involved in this project with LipCo Foods and Solano. It's important to us that we have partners who also want to contribute to such a tangible and necessary cause.

Because when a child gets the opportunity to learn, they also get the chance to choose where they want to go in the future.
