World Day of the Sick, celebrated on February 11, is a special time to reflect on the plight of those struggling with illness and an opportunity for support and solidarity. It is also a reminder of the importance of not remaining indifferent to those in need.
Caring for others is an integral part of our Uskrzydlamy Foundation's activities. Therefore, as part of the celebrations, we donated Children's Health Center in Warsaw – two boxes of mascots and financial support in the amount of PLN 3,000.
This is our contribution to preparing surprise packages for the residents of the Children's Memorial Health Institute (CZD), bringing them joy and comfort during the difficult time of hospitalization. The packages were prepared by volunteers at the Parish of the Good Shepherd on Przewodowa Street in Warsaw.
The stuffed animals donated to the children are more than just plush toys. Above all, they are a symbol of warmth, support, and hope, which are so desperately needed by the youngest patients.
Even a small gesture can bring a smile and give you the strength to fight for your health. Together, we can do more!
