By establishing the Foundation, SuperDrob wanted to express the importance of caring for its employees and their families. People are and should be the most important thing. The Uskrzydlamy Foundation supports development, the pursuit of passions, and the strengthening of family bonds. It opens new opportunities for those most in need, simply by SWIRLING. One such initiative is the "Jastarnia for Families" project, coordinated by Randa Ombach.
PR Team: What is the aim of the "Jastarnia for Families" project and how is it implemented?
Randa Ombach: The project was created to meet the needs of SuperDrob Capital Group employees who face financial challenges. We enable these individuals to spend holidays with their families, something they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford. We also strive to strengthen bonds so that families can spend as much time together as possible. Furthermore, the activities we organize serve as inspiration for more creative and imaginative ways to spend their time back home (especially on weekends). The "Jastarnia for Families" project is a way to distract both children and adults from the abundance of electronic media we encounter every day. We present a variety of options – creative and active ways to spend free time.
PR Team: What scope of support does the project cover?
Randa Ombach: We provide everything from A to Z – from travel, accommodation, meals, to attractions, so that families can focus solely on time together and relaxation.
PR Team: Who does the project concern?
Randa Ombach: Employees from our capital group companies.
PR Team: Who can participate in the project?
Randa Ombach: People in need, i.e. those in a difficult financial or life situation.
PR Team: Who are invited first?
Randa Ombach: These include: single parents, families with seriously ill children, and those experiencing financial hardship. These are the families we prioritize.
PR Team: How do you know which families need this type of support?
Randa Ombach: We are in contact with staff representatives at our various locations, i.e. people who should be aware of the financial and living situation of their colleagues.
PR Team: Can a family that has already participated in the project participate again?
Randa Ombach: We strive to have different families participate in the project each year to ensure everyone has a chance. We realize that there are many families in need, but we also offer opportunities for families in particularly difficult circumstances to return.
PR Team: How long has the project been in progress?
Randa Ombach: This is the third year of family trips.
PR Team: How long does this type of holiday trip take?
Randa Ombach: This is a 7-day stay at the seaside in Jastarnia in the last week of August.
PR Team: Where did the concept come from?
Randa Ombach: It all started with my private trips to Jastarnia with children from the orphanage. At that time, I had four children under my wing, with whom I went on vacation. These trips also proved to be the inspiration for the Foundation's project. I realized it was a perfect place for families. So, in the following year, the third year, I also took a family in need with me.
PR Team: Did more families participate in subsequent trips?
Randa Ombach: Yes, this group has been growing. Two years ago, there were a total of five families. This year, however, there were fifteen, or to be precise, 51 people.
PR Team: Are more participants expected next year?
Randa Ombach: This year, fifteen families participated in the project, but it's hard to say what the numbers will be like next year. From my perspective, as the trip coordinator, fifteen families is the optimal number. We're also limited by the number of seats on the bus. So, I think we'll aim for a group size of around 50-55 people.
PR Team: Is the project also being implemented in other locations?
Randa Ombach: No, always in Jastarnia.
PR Team: Why?
Randa Ombach: The main reason is the center located there – run by the "Droga" Family Aid Association, with which we have been collaborating for nearly eight years on a mutually supportive basis. Furthermore, Jastarnia is a beautiful town worth visiting and exploring. As for the Hel Peninsula, it's a unique place in Poland, not only because of the wealth of attractions offered by its resorts, but also because of its natural wonders. It's a natural phenomenon with extraordinary scenic value. It's truly worth seeing this astonishing natural creation with your own eyes.
PR Team: What does this collaboration involve?
Randa Ombach: The Association provides its Center for our families, helping us organize recreation, and we, in turn, provide food products to those in their care throughout the year.
PR Team: What attractions did this year's project program include?
Randa Ombach: We wanted it to be a truly inclusive experience, so not only children but also adults participated in the attractions. We tried to provide as many family-friendly activities as possible, including a ropes course, trips to the cinema, a trip to Władysławowo to the Luna Park, a visit to Evolution Park and the butterfly conservatory, a trip to Hel to visit the seal sanctuary and explore the bunkers, a trip for ice cream, and watching the sunset together on the pier with waffles.
Additionally, the center offered a children's club where they could paint and play board games. They could also use bikes, swimming noodles, and balls, so they had something to do while they were there. The biggest attraction, however, was, of course, the sea. In their free time, families could enjoy its charms – sunbathing or taking walks.
PR Team: What are the participants' impressions?
Randa Ombach: The best answer will come from the families themselves. As you can see, we've received many positive and kind messages.

We are touched and happy that we could be there. You gave us wings and energy. We feel immense gratitude and the kindness you share with us. Our family supported each other because we know that the best thing we can give our children is a rebuilt family home, filled with warmth and security. The trip to Jastarnia gave us the space to be together. Beautiful sea, walks, delicious home-cooked food, and many attractions…
All of this provided a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our own family and other families from the SuperDrob group. I wanted to thank you so much for organizing our vacation in Jastarnia – it was one of the most wonderful holidays in our children's lives! This year's organizer, Ms. Randa, took care of every detail to ensure our children were happy on their vacation. Trips to interesting places, especially worth seeing for children, were organized. We absolutely loved the Luna Park in Władysławowo. We lived 100 meters from the sea! – I've never lived so close to the sea, and the air was so clean and fresh. The food was also very good; the dinners were home-style and delicious – for which I also wanted to express my gratitude. This year, for the first time in my life, I went on a vacation with my son, offered by the SuperDrob Foundation "Uskrzydlamy." We went to Jastarnia. I have to tell you, it was a fantastic experience for us. We saw so many cool things we couldn't have afforded in real life. We explored endlessly, with no time to think about everyday life and its worries. The "Droga" Family Aid Association provided us with accommodations. The food was just like home, and the staff were dedicated people; it's clear they enjoy what they do.

My family and I spent the last week of August in Jastarnia at the "Droga" Family Aid Association center. It's a great place for families with small children – the entire area is safe, fenced, and has a playground. The cottages are small, but cozy. Restrooms are in the form of pavilions. The sea is a 10-15-minute walk away. The bay is just beyond the fence. Meals are served three times a day, very tasty, just like home-cooked meals. The foundation organized many different activities for us. We went to Władysławowo to see seals, to Evolution Park, to the butterfly house, and to the amusement park in Władysławowo. We went to the cinema, for ice cream, and for waffles. It was so much fun, incredibly interesting! We sincerely thank the SuperDrob Uskrzydlamy Foundation for the entertainment you organized for us, for the opportunity to experience such incredible emotions and experiences. Thank you for reminding us how important it is to spend time with family!

„"I spent my vacation this year on the Baltic Sea in Jastarnia. I was there with my mom thanks to the SuperDrob Foundation, "Uskrzydlamy z mama pracy." I really enjoyed the trips to the cinema, the walks, and swimming in the sea, but what I'll remember most is the trip to the seal sanctuary – I saw real seals for the first time in my life! I also have to mention the rope park, where I completed the course myself. There were also plenty of ice cream and waffles 😉 and, of course, lots of smiles and fun. Randa Ombach: Yes, absolutely. We will be inviting families again. We plan to continue this project for another fourth year. I should also add that it always takes place in the last week of August.
